Low-speed bearing (rolling/metal) AE diagnosis
Early detection of equipment abnormalities such as cracks, delamination progression, and lubrication failure is possible!
Acoustic Emission (AE) is released due to 1. crack propagation, 2. friction and wear, 3. leakage of liquids or gases, 4. corrosion, and 5. discharge. By applying this phenomenon, it is possible to diagnose various subtle phenomena in equipment, such as cracks in components, fatigue and poor lubrication in bearings, leakage and corrosion in piping, and partial discharge in transformers, allowing for earlier detection of abnormalities compared to conventional diagnostic methods. The AE method is not significantly affected by the operating conditions of the equipment; for example, in bearings, it can determine abnormalities regardless of the rotational speed, making it applicable to low-speed bearing equipment where diagnosis was difficult with traditional vibration methods. In cases of poor lubrication due to issues like lack of lubricant, AE signals generated by friction and wear during metal contact can be captured, enabling evaluation of the lubrication condition. *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.*
